Standard Traffic Film Remover (TFR) is highly alkaline and contains strong caustics like sodium hydroxide. While effective on heavy dirt, these chemicals attack aluminium’s protective oxide layer.

The result is

• surface etching,
• white staining,
• loss of shine,
• increased risk of corrosion.

For aluminium surfaces, only non-caustic or aluminium-safe cleaners should be used. They remove grime without damaging the metal’s finish or integrity.
